We moved from RedSky IT to Construction for Sage 200 Accounts because we needed a solution that’s user friendly; the drill down functionality is particularly impressive.
I started searching online and watched a webinar before inviting Eque2 to show us what they could do with a live demo. I made the decision to purchase Eque2 two weeks later when a consultant came out. I think the Construct for Sage system will benefit us by providing us with better cost control. We can use the detailed reporting to identify what we do well & what we are not doing so well at, and then learn for next time to make the appropriate adjustments to our tenders.
As our business grew, we opted to implement Construct for Sage 50 to provide us with detailed functionality in certain areas. For example, we wanted to be able to manage invoices electronically and also manage more information relating to our subcontractors, such as processing applications within the system.
Implementing Construct for Sage Accounts into our business has had a major impact on the way we work, we can accurately track the budgets and costs associated with our projects and clearly see the profit we are making from our jobs at the click of a button. Previously it would take me up to 2 hours to pull this information from spreadsheets and now it’s all done within 2 minutes, it’s great.
We were already using Sage 50 so we wanted a product that could be used without us having to replace our accounting system. The price was extremely competitive and we expect time savings and further efficiencies for our staff. We’re hoping to benefit from the better visibility and control Construct offers from tendering through to construction.
We were impressed with Eque2, we received detailed demonstrations which put our faith in Eque2 early on as the software offered us what we were looking for and more. As current users of Sage Accounts it was great that we didn’t have to change our accounts solution and the software integrated fully with Sage. The implementation process was also impressive, we booked in implementation days with our staff to ensure everyone could use the software confidently.
